Studio Mui is a small-batch, jewelry and decor brand that celebrates femininity. Every piece is carefully handcrafted by Emily Liu in New York.
Inspired by individuality and the fascination of material properties, each piece is thoughtfully designed, pigmented, shaped, and detailed by hand.
Behind the name and designs:
The name Mui (pronounced m oy) means little sister in Chinese and also my nickname at home. Coming from a large family and being the youngest to 3 elder sisters, the nickname has become a term of endearment.
Growing up in an Asian household, food was always my family’s love language, so I naturally gravitated towards making mainly food related pieces. I hope my creations sparks joy and nostalgia the same way comfort food does. :)
